Excentrico-gears cycloidal (EC-engagement) is a new type gear based on which it is possible to manufacture almost any gear (cylindrical, planetary and bevel gear) and pinion EC gears for mechanisms with rectilinear movement, EC pumps EC-compressors, EC-DVS.

Description:

Excentrico-gears cycloidal (EC-engagement) is a new type gear based on which it is possible to manufacture almost any gear (cylindrical, planetary and bevel gear) and pinion EC gears for mechanisms with rectilinear movement, EC pumps EC-compressors, EC-DVS.

Implementation of EC-gearing in reductionstrategy brings engineering to a new stage of development, since the efficiency of a traditional – involute gearing 97%, and excentrico-cycloidal – more than 99%, the capacity per 1 kg weight respectively 16 kW/kg and 30kW/kg.

ETS gears have inclined teeth, the shape of which in cross section is formed by circular arcs and portions of a cycloidal curve.

Transmission mechanisms with EC-gearing especially effective in those branches of engineering that require either high-load characteristics, or small in weight and size, or high reliability transmission, such as automotive, shipbuilding, aerospace, machinery, valves, mining equipment, wind energy, lifting technique.

The advantages of EC-gearing in comparison with the most common involute gear*:
