Autonomous contact lens with flexible Microbattery in addition to performing its primary function – correction of violations of view, is capable of a few hours to feed the built-in electronics to reproduce and transmit visual information over a wireless network, and for performing other additional functions.
In the future, the smart lens can be equipped with additional functions vision and augmented reality, interfaces man-machine for what it can be equipped with an integrated display, systems of communication, radio-frequency transmitters for wireless communication, sensors for tracking the direction of gaze, different computing devices, etc.
