Description:

Infrared film is comprised of a group of conductors sealed in plastic canvas, working temperature of which is maintained within +50 °C. Mechanical and moving parts are absent.

Indoor infrared film is mounted on a ceiling surface and can be closed almost any kind of construction and decoration. The room temperature is regulated via thermostat manually, automatically and remotely. The system requires no maintenance.

If necessary, the infrared film can be mounted in the walls and under the floor.

Infrared film allows you to heat rooms with the lowest energy consumption. System heating consumes 15 watts per m2.

When connecting the electric resistive element is heated to a temperature of 40-50 °C. Foil foam heat insulator allows to distribute warmth over the entire surface of the room. If the film heater is closed for construction decoration (gypsum Board, gypsum fiber Board, wood, etc.) on the ceiling surface temperature is 30-40 °C.

One of the most important properties of film heater is highly durable: guarantee service life at observance of technology of installation is 25 years. The service life of 50 years or more. Such durability is achieved in that in the operating state of the heater its constituent materials are in the range of gentle temperatures. In this case the resistive material has a melting point over 1500 °C, the polymer blade 350 °C.

The distinctive features of the devicegenerating infrared radiation in a residential, office or industrial premises, are the focus of heat rays and a property of the interior and structural elements of a building to accumulate heat due to the absorption of infrared radiation.

The use of natural principle of heat transfer, the system is able to increase the temperature of indoor air at 10 °C for 40-50 minutes, depending on the thermal resistance of the building envelope. When you close decor time output mode increases.

Infrared film can be used in conjunction with a wind power installation, a set of solar panels , etc. without additional equipment. In this case, the electric and heat losses are minimized.

Advantages:

– combined with ventilation systems, may be used in conjunction with ventilation systems with air supply from the floor and ceiling;

compensates for loss of heat by surfaces such as ceiling, floor, walls, Windows and doors. Reducing room temperature by 1 °C means a 5 percent savings in energy costs;

– quickly heats up to operating temperature. It is ideal for use with thermostat controllers or controllers that save power. This principle of control of optimum temperature of heating surfaces and high efficiency of operation of the heaters;

– low surface temperature (not exceeding +60C).

the natural principle of heat transfer;

– the system works about 5-10 min per hour. The rest of the time consumes the stored energy.

Infrared film can be used:

for heating of residential, office and manufacturing space, electric heating tanks and reservoirs with a liquid, pools, floor insulation, etc.

The coverage ratio ceiling surface is determined depending on the climate zone and temperature of the coldest five-day week in a specific region:

The average winter temperature for the coldest five-day, °C -50 °C -45 °C -40 °C -35 °C -25 °C -15 °C above -15 °C
Coverage ratio 1.00 0.90 0.80 0.65 0.60 0.55 0.50

Example of calculation of parameters of heating for the room of 80 m2:

For example, the temperature of the coldest five days (the coldest of the year in five consecutive days according to the forecasters) -35 °C, therefore, the coverage ratio is 0.65, so you have to close 65% of the ceiling surface.

Need a film heater for heating: 80 m2 x 0.65 = 52 m2.

Need an installed (peak) estimated power for the infrared heating is 52 m x 200 W = 10400 watts (200 watts – rated maximum starting power per square meter of film heater ceiling).

In the case that the total installed capacity is not enough for the purposes of heating and domestic appliances, it is advisable to use a relay to disconnect non-priority loads, which allows you to temporarily disable a part of the heating circuits of the system when the total load on the network exceeds the permitted number. Because each of the heated zones running 10 minutes per hour, it is not appropriate to include several zones at the same time. Thus, it is necessary to set the heating power can be reduced to 4 times without damage to it through the use of logical relays or controllers.

When connecting the film heater to a power source of limited power speed nominal output consumption (15 watts per square meter) will increase.
