Device for collecting solar heat, consisting of aerogel and heat absorbing dark material is able to accumulate solar energy and to maintain high temperatures (over 200 °C) even in winter.

A device to collect solar heat:

Created a device that is able to accumulate solar energy and provide high temperatures (over 200 °C) even in winter. This device can replace the solar collectors.

The device works in the passive mode and consists of aerogel (top layer) and heat absorbing dark material (bottom layer). The top layer the aerogel is an excellent insulator. Besides, he’s having a nice light (95 %). The light passing through a layer of aerogel, heats the bottom layer of heat absorbing dark material.

The device works even at zero and negative temperatures.
