Quantum polyethylene:

Quantum polyethylene is a polyethylene, in which embedded quantum dots. This composite material has unique properties: on the one hand, the fluorescent properties of quantum dots, on the other hand, mechanical properties of polyethylene. It absorbs and converts the ultraviolet light into visible blue light. It has a very bright fluorescence. Transparent in the visible region of the spectrum, resistant to high temperatures and retains its optical properties under mechanical stress.

The unique quantum properties of the material allow it to be used to increase the efficiency of solar panels and UV protection.
