Wear-resistant coating and preparation of modified metals

Wear-resistant coating and preparation of modified metals.

Wear-resistant coating melted into the substrate by using intense pulsed electron beam using a special electron-ion-plasma installation. As a basis for new materials are the aluminum and silumin – alloy of aluminum with silicon. The coating is titanium, titanium nitride and silumin containing 25% silicon. The result is a modified metals.

Description:

To create a durable, lightweight, corrosion resistant material for aviation and space technology, traditionally used method, involving the application of a framework of lightweight aluminum anti-corrosion coating. But a coating that is easily applied by spraying, is easily removable, therefore, to create a solid coating technology using the method of deposition of multilayer coatings, which requires a long time.

A wear resistant coating not just napyljajut on a substrate, and fused into it, which ensures fast and reliable: the mould takes microseconds, and the adhesion increases.

Wear-resistant coating melted into the substrate by using an intense pulsed electron beam using a special electron-ion-plasma installation. As the basis for the new material are aluminum and silumin – alloy of aluminum with silicon. As the coating uses titanium, titanium nitride and silumin containing 25% silicon. The result is a modified metals.

Advantages:

– 6 times increases the hardness of the metal and 3 times the wear resistance;

resistant coating is obtained on the basis of titanium, titanium nitride and silumin containing 25% silicon;

modified metals have low weight and good corrosion resistance.

Application:

in the manufacture of woodworking tools, parts for machinery, aerospace, COSMODRONE, etc.
