Transparent concrete is a light transmitting concrete, in a fine-grained structure which includes glass fiber filaments, this material is made based on high strength cement and marble or granite chips of small fractions, in which there are hundreds of thousands and millions of fiber optic strands, which allow to transmit light through it. With this feature, the material does not lose its properties, inherent to conventional concrete.
In appearance the material resembles natural stone, granite or marble, they can be widely applied in finishing work.
However, if you look at the lumen, through such material it is possible to recognize the shape and color of objects. Transparency provides millions of optical fibers embedded in the structure of the concrete. Due to the property of the optical fibers to pass light flux with minimal losses, the transparency of the material does not depend on the thickness.

Transparent concrete is exposed to standard methods of treatment (as with natural stone): grinding, polishing, cutting to size, shaped cutting, drilling holes.
