System of technical vision.
Vision system (a miniature radar) is designed to improve the accuracy of conversion of optical images into a video signal that carries the information about the coordinates, size and brightness characteristics of the luminous objects and their elements, subject to extreme conditions of control and surveillance: limited visibility due to inadequate illumination of the object, the reduced atmospheric transparency (fog, haze, dust, rain, snowfall), exposure to intense light interference and other types of radiation.

Vision system (a miniature radar) is designed to improve the accuracy of conversion of optical images into a video signal that carries the information about the coordinates, size and brightness characteristics of the luminous objects and their elements, subject to extreme conditions of control and surveillance: limited visibility due to inadequate illumination of the object, the reduced atmospheric transparency (fog, haze, dust, rain, snowfall), exposure to intense light interference and other types of radiation. Snowfall and Blizzard are no problem for this system vision.
The system comprises: a television camera with high sensitivity and electron-optical Converter, the device backlight, power supply, block management and a laptop with specialized software.
The vision system is a miniature radar, the size of a smartphone.
Can be used in unmanned vehicles.
Advantages:
– the elimination of the masking image sources “parasitic” light emission
– resistance to glare light, reflected from nearest to the system optical inhomogeneity,
– high precision measurement of distance to the observation object,
– increased range of the system through the use of natural lighting when working in an active-pulsed mode
– providing visualization of objects at presence in a monitored space as the stationary optical inhomogeneities (e.g., fog), and the moving inhomogeneities (snowfall),
– the possibility of implementing a “continuous” mode of viewing the whole distance by the accumulation of images of consecutive zones, each with its foldable weight ratio for equal brightness of the image areas with a “clean” image from the background component from the resulting image signal,
– the possibility of visual determination of the mutual location of objects observed in range through the use of special color,
– the possibility of adapting the pulse shape of illumination to the conditions of observation (e.g., the formation of sufficiently strong illumination pulse length in space, comparable to the size of the object, while other objects located in the surveillance zone will be less brightness)
– special colors. Viewed system the space is divided in range into three zones and all observed objects are colored respectively in blue (far field), green (medium area) and red (near-field) color.
