Standalone, portable thermoelectric power source

Standalone, portable thermoelectric power source.

Portable thermoelectric Autonomous power supply is designed for electric power for portable electric and electronic devices in the complete absence of sources of electricity.

Description:

Standalone, portable thermoelectric power source for electric power for portable electric and electronic devices in the complete absence of a stationary network and sources of electricity and any other sources of energysuch as solar light, wind, tide, thermal energy, etc.

The principle of operation of the device is converting heat generated from nuclear materials into electricity thermoelectric generator.

Standalone, portable thermoelectric power source comprises:

– thermoelectric devices that convert heat into electricity,

– heat source being in thermal contact with the heated side of the thermoelectric device

heat exchanger being in thermal contact with the cooled side of the thermoelectric device

storage of electrical energy.

The heat source is a fuel elementcontaining substances – oxidizing reagent and a reducing reagent in powder form and their alternating layers, where self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. High dispersion of powder oxidizing agent and reducing agent provides an extensive surface area contact of fuel materials (substances), which alleviates kinetic limitations and provides a high velocity of propagation high-temperature synthesis of heat.

As the oxidizing reagent used substances from the group of Ni, Fe, co, Nickel oxide, Nickel nitride, iron oxide, iron nitride, cobalt oxide, cobalt nitride, copper oxide, nitride of copper, an oxide of iodine and as a reducing agent – a substance from the group of substances of Al, Mg, Ti, Si, Zr.

The thermal energy contained in the fuel material can be stored for years in the most adverse conditions. Such material is not afraid of the cold, nor water, nor heat. Performance portable Autonomous thermoelectric power source with time not worse, as in the case of solar panels and lithium-ion batteries.

The heat source of the portable Autonomous thermoelectric power source begins to generate heat when activated (e.g., thermal, electric or mechanical action – a simple push button or failure of the protective seal). Further, the thermoelectric generator converts heat into electricity, which is transmitted to the capacitor or lithium ion battery.

The device requires no maintenance or recharging, can be in “sleep” mode for more than 10 years until you need it activated for the transmission of energy. The device operates without recharging for 10 years or more.
