The principle

Description:

New unique technology for producing gold, silver, copper, zinc etc. metals from waste products.

In the last century the main method of obtaining sulfuric acid was the roasting of pyrite concentrate. Pyrite is a mineral of iron of the class of sulphides, which are frequent impurities of gold, silver, cobalt, copper, zinc and other nonferrous metals. By roasting pyrite formed waste sulfuric acid production — pyrite cinders. Having in its composition of valuable nutrients before the waste is simply dumped in landfills due to the unprofitability of processing. On grounds of our country to the present time has accumulated about 30 million tons of waste sulfuric acid production is pyrite cinder.

New unique technology allows to carry out complex processing of wastes of production of sulfuric acid, pyrite cinder with obtaining a wide range of products: gold, silver, cobalt, copper, zinc, iron and its compounds, as well as other useful metals.

Principle:

Depending on the composition of the pyrite cinders are first dried and fired. Next is their sintering with ammonium chloride, resulting in formation of a complex of ammonium compounds which when heated decompose further.

With this technology, are formed by the chlorides of all elements: different connections of non-ferrous metals, or iron, which can be divided by simply adjusting and changing the temperature. Thus, it is possible to separate the chlorides of each metal and to produce new products. Along with that regeneration of the ammonium chloride, which further reduces the cost of reagents.

Unlike the existing widespread of imported technology (which are based on sulfuric acid method), this technology allows to process pyrite cinders into useful products without producing new waste. When the sulfuric acid same method extracts only the non-ferrous metals, and simultaneously generated a large quantity of sulphate of iron, not intended for industrial use, just stored in landfills. Thus, a new type of waste.
