Phase with molten chains – a new state of matter

Phase with molten chains – a new state of matter.

Description:

Discovered a new state of matter that combines the solid and liquid phases. It resembles a sponge containing the liquid, and received the name of – phase with molten chains (chain-melted phase).

Phase with molten chains (chain-melted phase) in experiments found in potassium at extreme conditions characterized by high pressures (2-4 GPA) and temperature (126-526 OS). In the new aggregate state of the substance from potassium observed complex structure – two interlinked crystal lattices. Moreover, the chemical bonding of the potassium atoms from the first crystal lattice is strong and when heated, it maintains the solid state of the substance. The second grating when heated, melts and forms a liquid.
