Multi-touch screen with quantum dots in lighting is unique in that the image is formed by using LCD crystals, but the screen has no reflecting rear wall as analogues existing in the world.

This multi-touch screen is transparent. The user can see all objects behind the screen. Polarization glasses are designed so that after tripping, the glass becomes completely opaque. Multi-touch screen protected by tempered glass up to 16mm.

In the backlight for the screen is embedded quantum dots. Quantum dots are tiny crystalsthat emit light with a precisely adjustable color value.

 

Technology “quantum dot” is a solution to produce pure spectral colors: red and green (emission spectrum of blue LEDs). As it turned out, this is a relatively inexpensive way to provide close to natural color for LCD matrices.
