Graphene plate:

Scientists were able to obtain graphene plates with a diameter of from 100 to 300 mm. due to the method of chemical vapor deposition graphene on polycrystalline copper film (copper-plated silicon substrate).

The process of growing graphene on polycrystalline copper film is not complicated and takes only 24 minutes. 6.5 minutes is spent on heating to a temperature of about 800 ° C, 2 minutes at annealing of copper, 3 minutes required for deposition of graphene and 12.5 minutes for cooling.

This process is relatively easy.

Graphene films of large size open up new possibilities of application of this unique material in many industries.
