Graphane

Graphane.

Graphane is a hydrogenated derivative of graphene (hydrogenated graphene).

Graphane:

Graphane is a hydrogenated derivative of graphene (hydrogenated graphene). This two-dimensional material in which one atom of carbon bonded with one atom of hydrogen and three atoms of carbon.

Its chemical formula is (≡CH)n.

Graphane is chemically active material and, unlike graphene, has dielectric properties.

When heated graphane gives the hydrogen atom and transforms into graphene.

Can be used in electronics and hydrogen storage.
