Disposal of galvanic waste

Disposal of galvanic waste.

The new technology of utilization of wastes of galvanic production waste and is based on fundamental chemical reactions, and a parallel waste disposal of brass and zinc. As a result of chemical reactions obtained valuable chemical materials.

Description

Advantages

Description:

In the process of electroplating are formed by electroplating and etching waste water – waste water with a high concentration of ions of heavy metals. This waste is highly toxic and corrosive.

The traditional method of disposal of these solutions involves the excretion of heavy metals as precipitation and subsequent burial in landfills. However, the traditional method of disposal of waste galvanic production does not solve the problem of pollution of nature – in this case, ions of heavy metals in landfills fall in the ground water and subsequently into water bodies and in the human body.

A new way of disposing electroplating wastewater and pickling based on fundamental chemical reactions, and a parallel waste disposal of brass and zinc.

As electroplating and etching effluent are used waste etching solutions of brass or copper on the basis of any of the acids, particularly sulfuric, nitric, hydrochloric, and others.

In the result of chemical reactions obtained valuable chemical materials: powder copper hydroxide (oxide) of zinc. Further zinc oxide can be used in the process of galvanizing, and powder-copper — a copper sulfate.

Advantages:

– a new method of utilization of wastes of galvanic production economically advantageous

the simplicity of the recycling process,

– recycling technology does not require additional resources, including labor, can be realized in fact electroplating production

waste-free. As wastes are generated valuable chemical materials that can be used.
