Borovan.

Description:

Boroden – two-dimensional crystal of boron. It has high strength, conductivity and other unique properties. Thus, in contrast to graphene Borovan was not flat, but like a sheet of corrugated cardboard, curving up or down depending on the relations between atoms of boron. This structure makes the new material is anisotropic — its mechanical and electronic properties depend on the chosen direction.

Because of these anisotropic properties Borovan will find its application in nanoelectronics.
