Blue phosphorus

Blue phosphorus.

Description:

Blue phosphorus is one of the allotropic modifications of phosphorus. Famous white, red and black allotropic modification of phosphorus. They have different properties and the structure of the crystal lattice.

The crystal lattice of a blue phosphor similar to the hexagonal lattice of graphene. It has energy 7 times greater than close to it on the properties of black phosphorus. These properties make blue phosphorous effective semiconductor.
