Automation and robotization of production — is the process of developing machine production, in which operational functions previously performed by a human, including mechanisms, are sent to the devices, automatic devices and robots.

On the basis of robot manipulators are created robotic systems for various purposes:

– cutting with high pressure water,
– arc cutting and welding,
– air-plasma cutting and welding,
– loading and unloading purpose
– and so forth.

Robot manipulator Gelios 20 is an anthropomorphic 6–power robot domestic design with local control system and a payload of 20 kg.
