Alloy for shipbuilding.
The development of shipbuilding require the use of new lightweight alloys to reduce the weight of vehicles and increase payload. Such requirements are met by alloys based on aluminum, which gives them a lightness, reduces vehicle weight by up to 50% compared to traditionally used steel.
Developed alloy for shipbuilding from aluminium and magnesium, alloy additions of scandium and zirconium, which improves the ease of construction of the vessel and increase their minimum lifetime, which is 80 years. New alloy for shipbuilding on the basis of aluminium and magnesium does not lose its properties in a temperature range from -80 °C to +300 °C. It has high strength and resistant to corrosion.
