Description:
Developed a new alloy for oil pipelines “Savarkar” in order to reduce the environmental risks of oil production and increase its efficiency.
In the oil and gas industry today there is a need for alloys with higher strength and corrosion resistance, allowing drilling at great depths offshore and in the conditions of corrosive environments and components (hydrogen sulfide (H2S), CO2 and chlorides). Traditional alloys have a short useful life (about 2 years) and unpredictable accidents, which are often accompanied by pollution of extensive territories.
Alloy “SeverCorr” is characterized by high corrosion resistance and cold resistance and longer life. To obtain the desired properties of the alloy “SeverCorr” liquid steel is introduced such elements as chromium, copper and Nickel. Of alloy can produce pipes both seamless and welded method.
